Bill Field is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Iowa College of Public Health, where they contributed to Occupational & Environmental Health, Epidemiology, and Human Toxicology. Previously, they served as a Health Physicist at the University of California, Berkeley, and held positions within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Presidential Appointee to the NIOSH Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health. Bill also participated in the U.S. EPA Science Advisory Board from 2012 to 2018. They earned a PhD from the University of Iowa and a BS from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
