Team Lead, Vaccine Preparedness Team, Virology Surveillance And Diagnosis Branch, Influenza Division at CDC

Bin Zhou currently serves as the Team Lead for the Vaccine Preparedness Team within the Virology Surveillance and Diagnosis Branch of the Influenza Division at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position held since December 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research Scientist at New York University from March 2014 to December 2017, and as a Staff Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the J. Craig Venter Institute between February 2011 and March 2014. Earlier in the career, Bin Zhou worked as a Research Assistant at the Wadsworth Center from 2005 to 2010. Bin Zhou holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (Virology) from the University at Albany and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Nanjing University.
