Brian Nicholson

Brian Nicholson is currently an Information Systems Security Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they lead and manage the IT security program for the National Center for Environmental Health and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. Previously, they served as a Senior Technical Advisor, providing expertise for a substantial IT procurement program. Prior to their time at the CDC, Brian worked at the National Institutes of Health as a Web Administrator, System Administrator, and Developer, and also held a position as a Biologist focusing on the mechanisms of general anesthesia. Brian holds a Master of Arts in Biology from William & Mary and has a background in Engineering, as well as studies in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
