Brian Wheeler

Brian Wheeler is a Senior Public Health Advisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, bringing extensive experience in public health management and operations. Previously, Brian held various leadership roles within the CDC, including Deputy Director positions in Nigeria, Haiti, and Kenya, where they managed significant resources and supported public health initiatives such as HIV/AIDS treatment and Ebola response efforts. Brian's background also includes a tenure as a Public Health Informatics Specialist and service as a Medical Corpsman in the US Air Force. They hold a Master’s degree in Public Health from Emory University and have dedicated their career to advancing global health protection and response strategies.
