Brittany Wright, MPH, currently serves as a Health Scientist and Evaluation Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Brittany was a CDC Birth Defects Surveillance and Research Fellow at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education from July 2021 to August 2023, and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from November 2019 to May 2021. Brittany's experience also includes conducting an Independent Research Study while serving as a Community Health and Nutrition Educator for the Furman University Eating Lean (FUEL) program, and roles as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina and a Community Pediatrics Research Intern at Prisma Health. Educationally, Brittany earned a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Furman University.
