Charles Braxton

Public Health Advisor-Health Department Liaison

Charles Braxton has extensive experience in public health, serving in various roles over more than a decade. Positions include Community Resource Specialist and Communicable Disease Control Investigator with the Chicago Department of Public Health, where responsibilities involved providing support and counseling related to STD/HIV prevention. As a Youth HIV/AIDS Prevention Specialist, Charles facilitated training for at-risk youth and the staff of community organizations. Later, at the Georgia Department of Public Health, Charles worked as Exercise Manager, providing guidance across multiple counties and districts. Currently, Charles serves as a Public Health Advisor-Health Department Liaison at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
