Charles McKee is currently an Environmental Engineering PhD student at the University of Cincinnati, where studies began in May 2024. McKee has previous experience as a Research Intern at Baker Wealth Management from June to August 2022 and has been actively engaged in research as a Student and Research Scholar at Virginia Tech from August 2020 to June 2024, focusing on the impact of climate change on resource-limited communities by investigating airborne nanoparticles and their genomic effects in cancerous mammalian lung cells. Currently, McKee also serves as a Research Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, contributing to the Health Effects Laboratory Division in the Chemical and Biochemical Monitoring Branch. McKee holds a Bachelor's degree in Nanomedicine and Environmental Toxicology from Virginia Tech.
