Christopher Barnes, MS, currently serves as a Research General Engineer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on occupational safety and health research aligned with the National Occupational Research Agenda. With experience as a Lieutenant Commander in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service since 2017, Christopher also previously held leadership roles at the Indian Health Service, directing a 36-member team and managing a $5 million budget for Biomedical Engineering and Facilities Management. Additional experience includes technical asset management for medical devices and a background in electronics maintenance at Kroger.
