Dr. Christopher Holliday, PhD, MPH, MA, FACHE, is the Director of the Division of Diabetes Translation at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they lead efforts to prevent diabetes and its complications. Previously, they held various leadership roles at the Georgia Department of Public Health, managing multiple health programs and budgets. Dr. Holliday served as President & CEO of Community Speaks, LLC, focusing on community health mobilization, and was the National Director of the Center of Excellence on the Social Determinants of Mental Health at Adler University. They also worked at the American Medical Association as Director of Population Health, implementing strategies to improve health outcomes for chronic conditions. Dr. Holliday earned a PhD and MA in Psychology from Georgia State University, along with an MPH in Health Policy & Management from Emory University.
