Ciara Sugerman is an epidemiologist currently working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. From 2017 to 2021, they served in various roles, including Immunization Program Director for the Global Immunization Division in Ethiopia and Senior Epidemiologist on the Global WASH Team. Prior to their experience at the CDC, Sugerman worked as a Technical Executive at the Food Safety Authority of Ireland and completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at University College Cork. They earned both a Bachelor of Science and a PhD from University College Cork, where they studied from 1992 to 2000.
