Colin Basler is a veterinary epidemiologist with extensive experience in foodborne and enteric zoonotic outbreak investigations. They served as a Veterinary Epidemiologist at the CDC from 2015 to 2022 and as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Colin holds the position of One Health Office Deputy Director and CDC One Health Liaison to WOAH. They earned a DVM/MPH from Tufts University in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2008.
