Cria Gregory is the Director of the Division of State and Local Readiness at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Previously, Cria served as an Epidemiologist in the Nutrition Branch and as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer on the International Micronutrient Malnutrition Prevention and Control team. Cria has also held positions as the Lead of the Maternal, Infant, and Toddler Nutrition Team and as Branch Chief of the Epidemiology Branch within the Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division. In addition, Cria has been a Commander in the United States Public Health Service since 2008. Cria received a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley and a PhD in Nutrition and Health Sciences from Emory University.
