Daniel Dawes is an accomplished leader in global health and policy, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Founding Dean of the School of Global Health at Meharry Medical College. They are also a Member of the Board of Trustees at both Loma Linda University Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. From 2016 to 2023, Daniel held the position of Board Director at the Healthcare Georgia Foundation and has contributed significantly to various organizations, including the American Psychological Association and Alliance for Strong Families and Communities. In addition to their professional roles, Daniel engages in academia as a Presidential Visiting Fellow at Yale University and a Professor in the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine.
