David J. Ederer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in civil engineering, public health, and epidemiology. Currently serving as an instructor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, David teaches courses in Civil Engineering Systems and Introduction to Transportation Engineering. Since July 2021, David has also worked as an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and as a Senior Assistant Engineer with the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service. Prior roles include an epidemic intelligence service officer and adjunct professor, as well as various positions in research and public health analysis.
