Devaki Kumarhia is an accomplished microbiologist with extensive experience in research and scientific writing. Currently serving as the Lead Microbiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since July 2017, Devaki has previously held positions as a Scientific Writer/Editor at CSRA Inc. and as a researcher at Georgia Regents University, where significant contributions included developing protocols for functional imaging and immunohistochemistry. Earlier roles include a Research Microbiologist position at the CDC, focusing on bacterial identification using advanced PCR techniques, and Lab Technician roles at Georgia Institute of Technology.
