Shane Diekman is currently the DGHT Senior Program Advisor for the PEPFAR Asia Regional Program at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Bangkok, Thailand. From 2017 to 2021, they held various roles within the organization, including serving as the Prevention, Care, and Treatment Team Lead at the Caribbean Regional Office in Barbados. They also contributed as a Behavioral Scientist in the HIV Prevention Branch, providing technical assistance across multiple countries on HIV testing services. Shane holds a PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Health from Emory University.
