Eric Jones, DHSc, is an accomplished health physicist with extensive experience in health physics and radiation safety, currently serving as the Lead Health Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since July 2022. Prior roles include Health Physicist and RSO at the Orlando VA Medical Center from August 2018 to July 2022, and similar roles at the United States Naval Academy and the United States Marine Corps. Eric Jones began a health-related career in the US Army as a Health Physics Specialist from June 2002 to December 2009 and later served as a Health Specialist in the US Navy. Educational credentials include a Doctorate of Health Sciences from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, a Master of Science in Health Science from Trident University International, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health from Drury University.
