Erika Meyer

Health Scientist, Global Immunization Workforce Development Team

Erika Meyer, MPH, currently serves as a Health Scientist on the Global Immunization Workforce Development Team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and has taken on the role of Acting Team Lead in the Global Immunization Division. With extensive experience in public health, Erika has previously worked with The Task Force for Global Health, Inc. as Associate Director of the Polio Surge Program, and Action Against Hunger, leading a significant research project on malnutrition. Erika's background includes roles at the World Health Organization, Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance, and as a Country Officer for CDC in Sierra Leone, demonstrating a proven track record in epidemiological analysis, program management, and fostering multi-sectoral partnerships. Erika holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Sociology from Pacific Lutheran University.
