Fred Holmes

Fred Holmes is the Deputy Director at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they currently serve as the Associate Director for Policy since 2021. From 2018 to 2021, Fred held the position of Command Executive Officer at the United States Department of the Army. Prior to that, they worked as a Supervisor Human Resource Specialist with the Army Civilian Service from 2012 to 2018. Fred earned a Master's degree in Military and Strategic Leadership from the U.S. Army War College between 2012 and 2014 and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Alcorn State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1992.
