Inacio Malimane is currently the HIV Prevention Branch Chief at CDC Mozambique and is completing a Master's in Public Health at Eduardo Mondlane University, where they also earned their medical degree. They began their career as a District Clinical Medical Officer with the Mozambique Ministry of Health, serving the Tete province before joining the CDC in 2011. In this role, Inacio has provided technical support to implement various HIV prevention initiatives and worked closely with the Ministry of Health to meet the UNAIDS goals. Additionally, they participated in the HETA program at the CDC Atlanta, enhancing their expertise and sharing field experiences.
