Jared Woo

Jared Woo is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and data analysis. Currently serving as an Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since November 2020, Jared previously held roles at ZS as a Decision Analytics Associate Consultant and at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Consultant, where expertise in evidence-based public health and disease surveillance was applied to large data sets. Prior experience includes working as a Public Health Data Analyst at Shelby County Health Department, conducting various analyses to support management decision-making, manage infectious disease outbreaks, and improve maternal and child health outcomes. Education includes a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Humanities from Baylor University, complemented by formal training in Data Science Fundamentals.
