Joe Tull

Joe Tull, CEM®, VaPEM, CGEMC, has extensive experience in emergency management and operations across various sectors, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as Duty Director of the National Operations Center, where oversight and coordination with senior leaders and the Secretary of Homeland Security were key responsibilities. Previous roles include Deputy Director of Communications Strategy for United States Forces Korea and Emergency Management Specialist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Joe Tull's military background includes operations management and incident command roles in the U.S. Army, focusing on health, welfare, and readiness for large teams, as well as strategic planning supporting national security initiatives. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University, and completed graduate studies in Homeland Security and Interagency Studies at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
