Joel Rives

Joel Rives is an experienced software architect and consultant with a career that spans several decades, currently serving at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since October 2010. Rives has extensive experience as a senior developer and consultant with Spiral, contributing to a diverse range of projects for clients such as Turner Broadcasting, Indus International, and Verizon Wireless, among others. Expertise includes architectural consulting, software design, and development utilizing technologies such as Java, C++, and various database systems. Rives holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a Math Minor from The University of Georgia and further education from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
