Jonas Perez

Jonas Perez is an experienced research scientist currently employed at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since October 2014. Previously, Jonas worked as a biochemist at Battelle from May 2013 to October 2014 and held roles as Director of Sequencing and Bioinformatics and Research Scientist at Medical Neurogenetics between March 2011 and May 2013. Education includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University, earned from 2005 to 2010, along with dual B.S. degrees in Computer Information Systems and Chemistry from Lee University, completed from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, Jonas began a career as a Report Developer intern at BISYS Fund Services from 2001 to 2004 and was a graduate student in chemistry at Vanderbilt University from August 2005 to September 2010.
