Jonathan Bach

Jonathan Bach, PE, CSP, CIH, currently serves as the Coordinator for the Prevention through Design (PtD) initiative at NIOSH within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on cultural change in hazard design practices. Previous experience includes roles as Safety Manager and Industrial Hygienist at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where responsibilities encompassed managing occupational safety and health services across various military and humanitarian construction programs in multiple countries. Jonathan Bach also held the position of Industrial Hygiene Manager at Naval Health Care New England, overseeing services for Navy and Marine facilities in the northeastern United States, and served as a Supervisory Industrial Hygienist with the 913th Airlift Wing from 1987 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Syracuse University.
