Kakoli Roy

Kakoli Roy is a seasoned economist currently serving as the Chief Economist at the CDC Chronic Disease Center, specializing in public health and healthcare policy. Previously, Kakoli held critical roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2006 to 2019, including Chief Economist in two different capacities and Senior Fellow at the University of Bonn's Center for Development Research. Kakoli's academic journey includes ongoing studies towards a PhD at the University of Cincinnati, alongside a BA and MA from Jadavpur University, and early education at Modern High School for Girls in Kolkata.
