Kate Pearson serves as the Associate Director for Policy in the Global Immunization Division at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since July 2010. In this role, Kate leads congressional engagement strategies and budget formulation for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), excelling in communication related to CDC's vaccine recommendations. Previously, Kate directed efforts for the CDC COVID-19 Response, delivering over 200 congressional briefings and managing health policy analysis across various divisions within the CDC. With a background in international development and global health, Kate holds a Master of Arts and a Graduate Certificate from the University of Denver, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts from Berry College.
