Kayla Epps

ORISE Fellow

Kayla Epps is an experienced public health professional with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Health Promotion with a minor in Global Health from the same institution. Kayla has served as an ORISE Fellow and SAFE@CDC Intern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, focusing on research related to lead exposure awareness among students. Additionally, Kayla completed an internship with the American Academy of Pediatrics, contributing to the Georgia Perinatal Quality Collaborative by developing educational resources and managing program-related documentation. Prior experience includes work as a Research Assistant at STARR Research Lab, specializing in Maternal and Child Health, Global Health, Women's Health, and Reproductive Health.
