Logan Ray

Associate Director For Surveillance

Logan Ray serves as the Associate Director for Surveillance at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) since August 2016, leading the Surveillance, Information Management, and Statistics Office in the Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases. Previous roles at the CDC include Informatics Specialist, where Logan contributed to system modernization initiatives, and Surveillance Epidemiologist, focusing on the surveillance of nine foodborne pathogens. Prior experience includes serving as an Epidemiology Technical Assistant at the Kentucky Department for Public Health and as an Emergency Department Technician at Norton Children's Hospital. Logan holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lipscomb University.
