Lucy Breakwell

Lucy Breakwell is currently the Typhoid and Cholera Vaccine Team Lead at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they oversee team goals and engage partners in vaccine implementation. Previously, they served as the Chair of the Global Task Force for Cholera Control Oral Cholera Vaccine Technical Working Group and held various roles, including Epidemiologist and Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer. They earned a PhD in Virology from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Lucy's extensive experience includes leading studies, managing projects, and providing technical assistance in the field of public health.
