Maile Thayer

Maile Thayer is an Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they also serve as a Team Lead for Epidemic Analytics. With a Master of Science in Biostatistics from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a PhD in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases from Yale University, Maile has a robust background in public health and statistical consulting. They have previously worked as a Health Services Senior Research Assistant at John Snow, Inc. and held various educational roles, including a Secondary Mathematics Teacher with the Peace Corps. Additionally, Maile has experience as an Art Teacher for at-risk youth and served as a Statistical Consultant at Yale University Library.
