Michael E. Rybak is the Lead Research Chemist and Laboratory Chief at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they lead a dedicated team in developing and implementing chemical analysis methods that align with CILIA standards. Previously, Michael served as a Senior Service Fellow and Chief of the Bioactive Dietary Compounds Laboratory at the CDC from 2004 to 2009. Their earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the United States Department of Agriculture and teaching assistant roles at the University of Manitoba and McGill University. Michael earned a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Manitoba and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from McGill University.
