Michael Kinzer

Michael Kinzer is a Senior Medical Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position held since 2021. They previously served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer and a Preventive Medicine Resident at the same organization from 2013 to 2015. Their experience includes working as a Clinical Researcher at the University of Pretoria from 2004 to 2005 and serving as a Medical Officer in the US Navy from 2007 to 2010. Michael is a Peace Corps Volunteer from 1994 to 1997 and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Emory University, as well as a Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
