Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is an experienced IT Specialist and Audio Visual Technician currently employed at the CDC since November 2010, overseeing project management and video conferencing systems in support of worldwide emergency management operations. Previous roles include VTC A/V Technician/Engineer at VSGi, where responsibilities encompassed conducting site surveys, installing and troubleshooting AV equipment, and providing user training. Additional experience includes managing video information systems in the U.S. Army and holding various technical and leadership positions within U.S. Space Command. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University, pursued from 2011 to 2015.
