Mohammed Ali

Mohammed Ali is a distinguished professional in the fields of medicine and public health, currently serving as a Professor at Emory University and a Primary Care Physician at The Emory Clinic since September 2019. With a significant role as a Consultant for the Division of Diabetes Translation at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 2010, Mohammed manages a collaborative network focused on diabetes prevention and control. Previous experience includes a tenure-track Assistant Professor and later Tenured Associate Professor at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship with the UK National Health Service. Mohammed holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and two MSc degrees from the University of Oxford, in Global Health Sciences and Cardiovascular Medicine, along with a medical degree from the University of Cape Town.
