Paul Scanlon is a seasoned Senior Research Methodologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Health Statistics since November 2012, specializing in qualitative and quantitative survey and questionnaire evaluations, as well as UX and validity studies. Prior to this role, Paul served as a Survey Statistician and Presidential Management Fellow at the United States Census Bureau, where investigations focused on the American Community Survey's applications. Additionally, Paul contributed as a Detailee Statistician at the Office of Management and Budget, providing expertise in qualitative and cognitive methodologies. Their earlier experiences include tutoring and designing academic curricula and serving as a graduate assistant at The University of Georgia, where Paul also earned a PhD in Anthropology. Paul holds a B.S./B.Phil in Horticulture and Ethnobotany from Penn State University.
