Peter Minchella

Peter Minchella is an epidemiologist currently serving as the Associate Director for Science at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They have previously held various roles such as Epidemiologist and Country Director (acting) within the Division of Global HIV and Tuberculosis. Peter earned a Ph.D. in International Nutrition from Cornell University, where they were also an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Their earlier experiences include a research assistant position at the Smithsonian Institution and a volunteer role with the Peace Corps.
