Rui Li

Senior Economist

Dr. Rui Li is a Senior Economist in the Division of Reproductive Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where they focus on estimating the economic burden of disease and evaluating the impact of health policies. Rui began their career at CDC as a Prevention Effectiveness Fellow in 2005 and has since dedicated ten years to the Division of Diabetes Translation. They possess extensive experience in economic evaluation, project management, and stakeholder consultation, supported by over 30 publications and numerous presentations. Rui holds a Ph.D. in Health Services and Policy Analysis from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Master's Degree in Environmental Health and a Bachelor's Degree in Preventive Medicine from West China University of Medical Sciences.
