Stephen Blumberg is a seasoned researcher and statistician with extensive experience in health statistics and survey methodologies. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since September 1997, Stephen conducts research focused on survey strategies for vulnerable populations and assesses the implications of changing household telephone statuses on telephone surveys. Prior to this role, Stephen held various positions at the National Center for Health Statistics, culminating in the role of Director of the Division of Health Interview Statistics from February 2018 to January 2018.
