Travis Brown

Travis Brown is a Health Scientist at the CDC, managing the National Survey Program and overseeing the national poliovirus containment survey. They have previously worked as a microbiologist and environmental microbiologist, conducting research on viral vaccine preventable diseases and waterborne disease prevention. Travis's earlier roles include serving as a Research Assistant and Lab Manager at UGA's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and as a Biosafety Intern at Georgia State University. Travis holds a Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Environmental Health from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Georgia.
