Lauren B. career started in public accounting where she spent seven years performing financial statement audits and tax services to clients. she joined the private sector as Assistant Controller at a private-equity-owned energy company. There, she streamlined the month-end close process and built out a finance team. When the PE group sold to a competitor, she was responsible for reporting results to the parent company, documenting processes and controls for Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, and was the point person for the integration of the finance groups which included adopting their ERP system.
