🔹 CDM Search

Some searches are straightforward.
Ours aren’t.

CDM Search is a boutique retained executive search firm specializing in Director through C-suite placements for venture and private equity-backed companies.

We partner with founders, CEOs, and investors at critical inflection points — scaling through Series B, approaching a liquidity event, or rebuilding leadership after a pivot.

Every search is led personally by Laura Gonzalez — The Headhuntress, bringing 18+ years of experience across SaaS, MedTech, FinTech, and Consumer.

🔹 How we work

• Retained & exclusive engagements only — never contingency
• Every search led start to finish — no handoffs
• Small number of active searches — full attention, every time
• Average time to fill: ~63 days (Director through C-Suite)

🔹 Who we work with

• VC & PE-backed companies (typically 50–200 employees)
• Series B through pre-IPO
• Founders and CEOs who need a partner, not a vendor
• Complex, high-stakes, hard-to-fill roles

🔹 Why boutique

Large firms win on scale.
We win on focus, precision, and outcomes.

No layers. No handoffs. No competing firms.
Just a dedicated search partner, fully accountable for the result.
