Adam Simonsen

Adam Simonsen is currently serving as the Discipline Leader for Utility Management & Finance at CDM Smith since April 2025. Previously, from May 2020 to April 2025, Adam was the Director of Business Development at Aquarion Water Company, where notable achievements included leading $200 million in water and wastewater acquisitions, contributing over 23,000 new customers. Adam's extensive experience also includes roles such as Director of Enterprise Solutions at Sedaru, where innovative solutions for water utilities were developed, and Director of Marketing and Client Service Manager at Innovyze, overseeing global marketing efforts for hydraulic modeling software. Adam's career also includes significant positions at QScend Technologies, Bentley Systems, and Haestad Methods. Educational credentials include an MBA with a Finance concentration from the University of Connecticut and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
