Amanda Liu is an Environmental Engineer at CDM Smith since August 2021, having previously served as an Environmental Engineering Intern at the same company from May 2020 to August 2020. Liu gained valuable research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin, from May 2018 to May 2020, focusing on the effects of coagulation on biofilm performance and conducting air quality analysis. In the summer of 2019, Liu interned at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, where significant contributions were made to air quality permit analysis and emission mitigation strategies. Additionally, Liu developed leadership and problem-solving skills as a Program Leader at Club Rewind during the summer of 2016. Liu holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in May 2021.
