Bilal Abada, Ph.D., is an Environmental Engineer currently employed at CDM Smith since January 2025. Prior to this role, Bilal served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Southern Nevada Water Authority, where research focused on innovative applications of dissolved air flotation in drinking water treatment and the effects of temperature on ozonation and bromate formation. Experience also includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, engaging in studies of membrane fouling and chemical cleaning in water reuse facilities, along with investigating the implementation of DAF for hypersaline wastewater treatment. Earlier in the career, Bilal worked as a Site Civil Engineer at Adnan Aswad Engineering Consultants, contributing to significant projects such as Baghdad Mall and Princess Tower. Bilal holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Baghdad.
