Brian Murphy, PE, currently serves as the Pacific Northwest Regional Client Service Leader at CDM Smith, beginning in October 2023, where Brian focuses on client relations in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. Prior to this role, Brian was a Vice President at Tetra Tech from December 2017 to October 2023, overseeing water and wastewater business development in the Pacific Northwest. As the owner and head coach of The Pursuit Coach, LLC from March 2013 to March 2020, Brian provided business development training for technical professionals. Additional experience includes positions in business development and project management at organizations such as BergerABAM, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, Winzler and Kelly Consulting, Black & Veatch, HDR, and the American Water Works Association. Brian’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, along with various professional training programs.
