Chad Johnson

Chad Johnson, PE, CFM, currently serves as a Senior Project Manager at CDM Smith since August 2020, bringing extensive experience in civil engineering, particularly in water resources and interdisciplinary infrastructure projects. Aside from this role, Chad operates as an Independent Contractor, officiating basketball games from youth to High School Junior Varsity levels, promoting safety and fairness. Additionally, Chad has been an Election Supervising Judge/Worker for the Johnson County Election Office since November 2004, managing polling operations in compliance with legal standards. Prior experience includes various engineering roles at Olsson for over two decades, contributing to water resources and civil engineering services, and positions in academic and field engineering. Chad holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Brigham Young University.
