Chase Stearnes

Chase Stearnes, PE, PMP, is an experienced Project Manager currently employed at CDM Smith since November 2024. Prior to this role, Chase worked at Daniel B. Stephens & Associates, Inc., a Geo-Logic Company, from May 2017 to November 2024, fulfilling positions as a Water Resources Engineer and Engineering Intern, focusing on hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations and stormwater control design. Chase's early career included experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of New Mexico, contributing to wastewater treatment and biological metals remediation research, as well as assisting hydrology and bridge rating projects. Previous roles also included barista at Starbucks and summer engineering intern at the City of Santa Monica. Chase holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Mexico, obtained in 2017.
