Chi Ping Lam

Chi Ping Lam, AICP, is a seasoned transportation planner and travel demand modeler with over two decades of experience in the field. Currently serving at CDM Smith since October 2019, Chi Ping Lam specializes in leading modeling tasks and conducting data analysis for various transportation planning and toll traffic studies. Prior to this role, Chi Ping Lam was the Chief Transportation Planner at the Houston-Galveston Area Council from 2002 to October 2019, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining in-house travel demand models and implementing advanced modeling practices. Chi Ping Lam holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation from The Ohio State University.
