Chris L.

Chris L. is a seasoned professional in safety and security management with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Facilities Safety and Security Manager at CDM Smith since July 2022, Chris previously held the position of Security Director for the David L. Lawrence Convention Center under Official ASM Global from November 2021 to June 2022. Prior experience includes Deputy Project Security Manager at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals from February 2019 to November 2021, and Project Manager at G4S from August 2017 to February 2019. Chris began as a Lieutenant with Chenega Security and Protection Services, LLC, overseeing operations for the Centers for Disease Control and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (CDC/NIOSH) from July 2014 to August 2017. Chris is pursuing a Master's of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Auburn University, expected to be completed in August 2026, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University, as well as a Basic Linguist Certification in Russian from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
